5 ways to improve your energy levels

  1. Snooze ..you win! Sleep has a huge impact on our health and we need between seven and nine hours a night. Avoid going to bed late and gradually get yourself into an earlier bed time to improve your sleep cycle, keep to the same times if you can 7 days a week!

  2. Slowly does it! B vitamins such as B12, B6 and B2 help with the reduction of tiredness and fatigue - try foods like salmon, leafy greens, eggs and milk to get the benefit.

  3. Stay hydrated! Dehydration impacts energy levels and mood. Doctors recommend six to eight cups of water per day, but this can be more if you are exercising! Try to increase your water intake gradually! See my blog on water and hydration!

  4. Move it! Being active can help raise your energy levels. Exercising increases oxygen circulation in your body, supporting energy production. Getting outside everyday can up your vitamin D intake and help increase stamina
